The sea, The Beach and The Nature
Feddet beach is one of the best and most popular beaches on the south of Zealand. It stretches several kilometers along the peninsula of Feddet. Feddet beach is, with its shallow water, a lovely and child friendly beach, with lots of nice, white sand, with which to build stunning sand castles and where your imagination can run wild. We therefore need your help to take care of the beach, the ocean and the sea life you will find along the coast and in the ocean by not leaving garbage on the beach. Use instead the trash bins and if you see any garbage while walking, we encourage you to take it with you so that we all help each other with keeping the beach nice and clean.
The beach and the coastline is a big part of the peninsula Feddet and that is the exact reason why it is so important that we take good care of it. We unfortunately often see that plastic and residual waste finds its way in and out of the ocean and it ruins our nature at the same time it also has a hard time perishing. Feddet Strand Resort has therefore signed up as “Marine Environmental Patrol” – and you are more than welcome to help us. In the Information at the resort, we give out waste bags, so that we all can keep the beach and sea free from plastic articles.
At Feddet Strand Resort, we operate and cultivate our fields as an organic agriculture with focus on producing environmental friendly and organic products. At Feddet, you can also pick organic blueberries. The blueberry bushes at Feddet is of the big-bushed sort and can be up to 2 meters high. The berries are therefore easy to pick both kids and adults. At Feddet, we always try to maintain a sharp focus on sustainability and environmental friendly ventures that is a part of our growing climate effort. We wish to protect Feddet as a peninsula including our beautiful soil and nature so that not only we but also the many generations of guests to come can experience and enjoy all of what we now are experiencing and enjoying. The beautiful nature at Feddet, the beach and ocean, the forests and none the least the wild nature of our meadowland where animal life and unique nature experiences are waiting.
